Tim’s Reflections
Fr. Tim connects you with the Gospel through stories, analogies, and humour. He was the youngest of four boys born in Souris (MB), later growing up in Regina (SK). His childhood included prairie pranks (mostly tipping things over), duck hunting, the sea cadets, and riding the CPR, a benefit of his father, having a managerial role at the Regina CP station. His father died when he was a 14-year-old, and he and his mother subsequently moved to Ontario.
Fr. Tim was not born wanting to be an Anglican minister. He originally worked as a journalist, first for Dalhousie University’s (Halifax, NS) paper, and later for the CBC, Woodstock Sentinel, and Toronto Star. He later heard the calling, attended Trinity College at UofT, and has been Reverend Foley ever since.
If you want more stories, or more recent ones, feel free to talk to Fr. Foley - he has many to tell.
